حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ نُوحِ بْنِ ذَكْوَانَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَلَبِسَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصُّوفَ وَاحْتَذَى الْمَخْصُوفَ وَلَبِسَ ثَوْبًا خَشِنًا خَشِنًا
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya bin 'Utsman bin Sa'id bin Katsir bin Dinar Al Himshi] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Baqiyah bin Al Walid] dari [Yusuf bin Abu Katsir] dari [Nuh bin Dzakwan] dari [Al Hasan] dari [Anas] dia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam mengenakan kain shuf (wol) dan mengenakan terompah yang di tambal, beliau juga mengenakan pakaian yang kasar."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
