حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ كَرَامَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَحْوَصُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَخَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَعَلَيْهِ جُبَّةٌ رُومِيَّةٌ مِنْ صُوفٍ ضَيِّقَةُ الْكُمَّيْنِ فَصَلَّى بِنَا فِيهَا لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ غَيْرُهَا
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Utsman bin Karamah] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Usamah] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Ahwash bin Hakim] dari [Khalid bin Ma'dan] dari ['Ubadah bin Ash Shamit] dia berkata, "Pada suatu hari Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam mendatangi kami, dan beliau mengenakan jubbah buatan romawi yang terbuat dari wool yang sempit kedua lengannya. Kemudian beliau mengimami kami dengan mengenakan baju itu tanpa ada sesuatu yang menempel padanya."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
