حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْأَيْلِيِّ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَبِسَ خَاتَمَ فِضَّةٍ فِيهِ فَصٌّ حَبَشِيٌّ كَانَ يَجْعَلُ فَصَّهُ فِي بَطْنِ كَفِّهِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Yahya] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Isma'il bin Abu Uwais] telah menceritakan kepadaku [Sulaiman bin Bilal] dari [Yunus bin Yazid Al Aili] dari [Ibnu Syihab] dari [Anas bin Malik], bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam mengenakan cincin yang terbuat dari perak dan mata batunya dari Habasyah, beliau lalu menghadapkan batu cincinnya ke arah telapak tangan."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
