حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ الرُّمَّانِيِّ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا اطَّلَى بَدَأَ بِعَوْرَتِهِ فَطَلَاهَا بِالنُّورَةِ وَسَائِرَ جَسَدِهِ أَهْلُهُ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ali bin Muhammad] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdurrahman bin Abdullah] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hammad bin Salamah] dari [Abu Hasyim Ar Rumani] dari [Habib bin Abu Tsabit] dari [Ummu Salamah] bahwa apabila Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melumuri badannya, maka beliau memulai dengan auratnya terlebih dahulu, kemudian istrinya yang melumuri seluruh badannya dengan kapur wangi."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
