حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ وَالْمُحَارِبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ مِغْوَلٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُوقَةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَإِنْ كُنَّا لَنَعُدُّ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَجْلِسِ يَقُولُ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ali bin Muhammad] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Usamah] dan [Al Muharibi] dari [Malik bin Mighwal] dari [Muhammad bin Suqah] dari [Nafi'] dari [Ibnu Umar] dia berkata; "Apabila kami menghitung ucapan Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam dalam suatu majlis: "Rabbighfirli watub 'alayya innaka anta tawwabur rahim (Ya Rabbku ampunilah aku dan terimalah taubatku, sesungguhnya Engkaulah Maha penerima taubat dan maha penyayang" beliau mengucapkannya sebanyak seratus kali."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
