حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَتْنَا حُبَابَةُ ابْنَةُ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ أُمِّهَا أُمِّ حَفْصٍ عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ أُمِّ حَكِيمٍ بِنْتِ وَدَّاعٍ الْخُزَاعِيَّةِ قَالَتْسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ دُعَاءُ الْوَالِدِ يُفْضِي إِلَى الْحِجَابِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Yahya] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Salamah] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hubabah putrinya 'Ajlan] dari [ibunya yaitu Ummu Hafsh] dari [Shafiyah binti Jarir] dari [Ummu Hakim binti Wadda' al Khuza'iyyah] dia berkata; "Aku mendengar Rosulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Do'a orang tua itu membuka hijab."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
