حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا انْتَبَهَ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ قَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ali bin Muhammad] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Waki'] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan] dari [Abdul Malik bin 'Umair] dari [Rib'i bin Hirasy] dari [Hudzaifah] dia berkata; "Jika Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam terbangum di malam hari, beliau mengucapkan: "Al Hamdulillahilladzii ahyaana ba'da maa amatana wailaihi nusyur (Segala puji bagi Allah yang telah menghidupkan kami setelah mematikan kami, dan kepada-Nya lah tempat kembali."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
