حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَيَرْفَعُهُ قَالَ يَتَقَارَبُ الزَّمَانُ وَيَنْقُصُ الْعِلْمُ وَيُلْقَى الشُّحُّ وَتَظْهَرُ الْفِتَنُ وَيَكْثُرُ الْهَرْجُ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا الْهَرْجُ قَالَ الْقَتْلُ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakar bin Abu Syaibah] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdul A'la] dari [Ma'mar] dari [Az Zuhri] dari [Sa'id bin Musayyab] dari [Abu Hurairah] yang dimarfu'kan kepada Nabi, beliau bersabda: "Waktu semakin cepat, ilmu semakin kurang, banyak kekikiran, fitnah banyak menyebar dan al haraj merajalela." Para sahabat bertanya, "Wahai Rasulullah, apakah maksud dari al haraj?" beliau menjawab: "Pembunuhan."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
