    حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ وَنَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَهَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحَمَّالُ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُوقَةَ سَمِعَ نَافِعَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ يُخْبِرُ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْذَكَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْجَيْشَ الَّذِي يُخْسَفُ بِهِمْ فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَعَلَّ فِيهِمْ الْمُكْرَهَ قَالَ إِنَّهُمْ يُبْعَثُونَ عَلَى نِيَّاتِهِمْ

    English Translation

    Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin As Shabah] dan [Nashr bin Ali] serta [Harun bin Abdullah Al Hammal] mereka berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] dari [Muhammad bin Suqah] dia mendengar [Nafi' bin Jubair] telah mengabarkan dari [Ummu Salamah] dia berkata, "Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam pernah menyebutkan pasukan yang ditenggelamkan, maka Ummu Salamah bertanya, "Wahai Rasulullah, bagaimana dengan mereka yang dipaksa?" beliau menjawab: "Mereka akan dibangkitkan sesuai dengan niat mereka."

    Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.

    Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
