حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَأُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا بِطَعَامٍ سُخْنٍ فَأَكَلَ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ قَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مَا دَخَلَ بَطْنِي طَعَامٌ سُخْنٌ مُنْذُ كَذَا وَكَذَا
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Suwaid bin Sa'id] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ali bin Mushir] dari [Al A'masy] dari [Abu Shalih] dari [Abu Hurairah] dia berkata, "Suatu hari Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam pernah diberi makanan yang masih hangat lalu beliau memakannya, selesai makan beliau mengucapkan: "Segala puji bagi Allah, perutku tidak pernah kemasukan makanan yang hangat sejak ini dan ini."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
