حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَقَ الْهَرَوِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَمْرَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِلْأَشَجِّ الْعَصَرِيِّ إِنَّ فِيكَ خَصْلَتَيْنِ يُحِبُّهُمَا اللَّهُ الْحِلْمَ وَالْحَيَاءَ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Ishaq Al Harawi] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al 'Abbas bin Al Fadl Al Anshari] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Qurrah bin Khalid] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Jamrah] dari [Ibnu Abbas], bahwa Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda kepada Al Asyaj Al 'Ashri: "Sesungguhnya dalam dirimu terdapat dua sikap yang dicintai oleh Allah; sifat santun dan malu."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
