قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ وَحَدَّثَنِي حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَعَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ دَخَلَتْ امْرَأَةٌ النَّارَ فِي هِرَّةٍ رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَا هِيَ أَطْعَمَتْهَا وَلَا هِيَ أَرْسَلَتْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ حَتَّى مَاتَتْقَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ لِئَلَّا يَتَّكِلَ رَجُلٌ وَلَا يَيْئَسَ رَجُلٌ
English Translation
(Masih dari jalur periwayatan yang sama dengan hadits sebelumnya) [Az Zuhri] berkata; dan telah menceritakan kepadaku [Humaid bin Abdurrahman] dari [Abu Hurairah] dari Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam beliau bersabda: "Seorang wanita masuk neraka karena seekor kucing yang di karungnya, ia tidak memberinya makan dan tidak juga melepasnya hingga ia dapat mencari makan dari hewan bumi sampai mati." Az Zuhri berkata; "Supaya seseorang itu tidak hanya bertawakkal dan tidak berputus asa."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
