حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَفْصِ بْنِ هِشَامِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ كَثِيرٍ أَبُو النَّضْرِ صَاحِبُ الْبَصْرِيِّ عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرَّقَاشِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ خَلَّلَ لِحْيَتَهُ وَفَرَّجَ أَصَابِعَهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Hafsh bin Hisyam bin Zaid bin Anas bin Malik] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yahya bin Katsir Abu An Nadlr] dari [Yazid Ar Raqasyi] dari [Anas bin Malik] ia berkata; "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam jika berwudlu selalu menyelah-nyelah jenggotnya, dan merenggangkan jari-jemarinya dua kali."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
