حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ النَّحَّاسِ الرَّمْلِيُّ وَأَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرَّقِّيُّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ضَمْرَةُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ شَوْذَبٍ عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نُكْمِلُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ سَبْعِينَ أُمَّةً نَحْنُ آخِرُهَا وَخَيْرُهَا
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Isa bin Muhammad bin An Nahas Ar ramli] dan [Ayyub bin Muhammad Ar Raqqi] keduanya berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Dlamrah bin Rabi'ah] dari [Ibnu Syaudzab] dari [Bahz bin Hakim] dari [ayahnya] dari [kakeknya] dia berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Kita akan melengkapai (dengan) tujuh puluh ummat kelak di hari Kiamat, kita adalah ummat yang terakhir dari mereka dan yang terbaik dari mereka."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
