حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ عَنْ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَعَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا جَلَسَ الرَّجُلُ بَيْنَ شُعَبِهَا الْأَرْبَعِ ثُمَّ جَهَدَهَا فَقَدْ وَجَبَ الْغُسْلُ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Fadhl bin Dukain] dari [Hisyam Ad Dustuwa`i] dari [Qotadah] dari [Al Hasan] dari [Abu Rafi'] dari [Abu Hurairah], dari Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau bersabda: "Jika seorang laki-laki duduk di atas empat cabangnya yang empat lalu bersungguh-sungguh, maka ia wajib mandi."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
