حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ الْحِمَّانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ أَبُو يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَغْتَسِلَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ بِأَرْضِ فَلَاةٍ وَلَا فَوْقَ سَطْحٍ لَا يُوَارِيهِ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَرَى فَإِنَّهُ يُرَى
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Ubaid bin Tsa'labah Al Himmani] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdul Hamid Abu Yahya Al Himmani] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Hasan bin Umarah] dari [Al Minhal bin 'Amru] dari [Abu Ubaidah] dari [Abdullah bin Mas'ud] ia berkata; Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Jangan sekali-kali salah seorang di antara kalian mandi di tanah lapang dan di atas atap yang tidak ditutupi oleh sesuatu, karena jika dia tidak dapat melihat sesungguhnya dia terlihat."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
