حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ الْعَدَوِيَّةِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَأَنَّ امْرَأَةً سَأَلَتْهَا أَتَقْضِي الْحَائِضُ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَتْ لَهَا عَائِشَةُ أَحَرُورِيَّةٌ أَنْتِ قَدْ كُنَّا نَحِيضُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ نَطْهُرُ وَلَمْ يَأْمُرْنَا بِقَضَاءِ الصَّلَاةِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ali bin Mushir] dari [Sa'd bin Abu 'Arubah] dari [Qotadah] dari [Mu'adzah Al 'Adawiyah] dari [Aisyah]; bahwasanya ada seorang wanita yang bertanya kepadanya; apakah wanita haidl harus mengqadla shalat? Aisyah berkata kepada wanita tersebut; "Apakah engkau seorang Haruriah? Kami pernah mengalami haidl kemudian suci di masa Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, namun beliau tidak memerintahkan kami untuk mengqadla shalat."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
