حَدَّثَنَا تَمِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْتَصِرِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ بَيَانٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَكُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةَ الظُّهْرِ بِالْهَاجِرَةِ فَقَالَ لَنَا أَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Tamim bin Al Muntashir Al Wasithi] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ishaq bin Yusuf] dari [Syarik] dari [Bayan] dari [Qais bin Abu Hazim] dari [Mughirah bin Syu'bah] ia berkata; Kami pernah shalat zhuhur bersama Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam pada waktu tengah hari, lalu beliau bersabda: "Tundalah shalat hingga hari menjadi dingin (teduh), sesungguhnya panas yang menyengat adalah dari hembusan neraka Jahannam."

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
