حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مُخَوَّلٍ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْبَطِينِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ الم تَنْزِيلُ السَّجْدَةَ وَهَلْ أَتَى عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakar bin Khallad Al Bahili] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Waki'] dan ['Abdurrahman bin Mahdi] keduanya berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan] dari [Mukhawwal] dari [Muslim Al Bathin] dari [Sa'id bin Jubair] dari [Ibnu Abbas] ia berkata; "Pada hari jum'at dalam shalat subuh beliau membaca ALIIF LAAM MIIM TANZIIL surat As Sajadah dan HAL ATA 'ALAL INSAN. "

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
