حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلَّالُ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ قَالَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَجَدَ وَضَعَ رُكْبَتَيْهِ قَبْلَ يَدَيْهِ وَإِذَا قَامَ مِنْ السُّجُودِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ قَبْلَ رُكْبَتَيْهِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Al Hasan bin Ali Al Khallal] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yazid bin Harun] berkata, telah memberitakan kepada kami [Syarik] dari [Ashim bin Kulaib] dari [Bapaknya] dari [Wa`il bin Hujr] ia berkata; "Aku melihat Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, jika sujud beliau meletakkan kedua lutut sebelum kedua tangannya. Dan jika bangun dari sujud beliau mengangkat kedua tangannya sebelum kedua lutut. "

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
