حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ هُوَ قَاصُّ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي حُجْرَةِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فَمَرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَوْ عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ فَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ فَرَجَعَ فَمَرَّتْ زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ هَكَذَا فَمَضَتْ فَلَمَّا صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ هُنَّ أَغْلَبُ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Waki'] dari [Usamah bin Zaid] dari [Muhammad bin Qais] -ia adalah Qash Umar bin Abdul Aziz- dari [Bapaknya] dari [Ummu Salamah] ia berkata, "Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam shalat di kamar Ummu Salamah, lalu Abdullah atau Umar bin Abu Salamah melintas di hadapan beliau. Maka beliau bersabda dengan isyarat tangannya hingga ia pun kembali. Setelah itu Zainab binti Ummu Salamah lewat dan beliau juga bersabda dengan tangannya seperti ini, hingga iapun kembali lagi. Ketika Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam selesai shalat, beliau bersabda: "Mereka (wanita) lebih sering (berbuat maksiat dan menyimpang). "

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
