حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ قَالَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي زِيَادُ بْنُ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ فَأَوْقَفَنِي عَلَى شَيْخٍ بِالرَّقَّةِ يُقَالُ لَهُ وَابِصَةُ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ فَقَالَ صَلَّى رَجُلٌ خَلْفَ الصَّفِّ وَحْدَهُ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُعِيدَ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdullah bin Idris] dari [Hushain] dari [Hilal bin Yasaf] berkata; Ziyad bin Abu Al Ja'd memegang tanganku dan menempatkan aku di sisi seorang syaikh di Riqqah yang biasa disebut dengan nama [Wabishah bin Ma'bad]. Ia kemudian berkata, "Ada seorang laki-laki shalat sendirian di belakang shaf, lalu Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam memerintahkan kepadanya untuk mengulangi shalat. "

Imam Ibn Majah compiled the last of the six major hadith collections (Kutub al-Sittah). He travelled widely to collect hadiths — through Iraq, Basra, Syria, Egypt, and Arabia. His collection contains unique narrations not found in the other five collections, though scholars note some weaker chains.
Ibn Majah's collection was later added to the Kutub al-Sittah by Imam al-Maqdisi. It contains approximately 4,341 hadiths including narrations unique to this collection.
