و حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ تَغْلِبَ عَنْ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مَنْ كَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ ذَرَّةٍ مِنْ كِبْرٍ
English Translation
Dan telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Basysyar] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Dawud] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syu'bah] dari [Aban bin Taghlib] dari [Fudlail] dari [Ibrahim] dari [Alqamah] dari [Abdullah] dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau bersabda: "Tidak akan masuk surga orang yang di dalam hatinya terdapat seberat biji dari kesombongan."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
