حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَسْبَاطٌ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَتْأَخَذَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْبَيْعَةِ أَلَّا تَنُحْنَ فَمَا وَفَتْ مِنَّا غَيْرُ خَمْسٍ مِنْهُنَّ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ishaq bin Ibrahim] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Asbath] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hisyam] dari [Hafshah] dari [Ummu 'Athiyah] ia berkata; "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam telah membai'at kami untuk tidak melakukan Niyahah (meratapi mayit). Maka tidak seorang wanita pun dari kami yang wafat (lalu kami meratapinya) kecuali lima orang, termasuk di antaranya adalah Ummu Sulaim."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
