و حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ الْبَجَلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ عَنْ أَبِي مَرْثَدٍ الْغَنَوِيِّ قَالَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا تُصَلُّوا إِلَى الْقُبُورِ وَلَا تَجْلِسُوا عَلَيْهَا
English Translation
Dan telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hasan bin Rabi' Al Bajali] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnul Mubarak] dari [Abdurrahman bin Yazid] dari [Busr bin Ubaidullah] dari [Abu Idris Al Khaulani] dari [Watsilah bin Al Asyqa'] dari [Abu Martsad Al Ghanawi] ia berkata; Saya mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Janganlah kalian shalat dengan menghadap kuburan dan jangan pula kalian duduk di atasnya."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
