حَدَّثَنَا عَوْنُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ الْكُوفِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَأُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِرَجُلٍ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِمَشَاقِصَ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Aun bin Sallam Al Kufi] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Zuhair] dari [Simak] dari [Jabir bin Samurah] ia berkata; Pernah didatangkan kepada beliau shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam jenazah seorang laki-laki yang bunuh diri dengan anak panah. Tetapi jenazah tersebut tidak dishalatkan oleh beliau.

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
