و حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَكَّائِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَاعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الشَّهْرُ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا عَشْرًا وَعَشْرًا وَتِسْعًا
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sahl bin Utsman] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ziyad bin Abdullah Al Bakka`i] dari [Abdul Malik bin Umair] dari [Musa bin Thalhah] dari [Abdullah bin Umar] radliallahu 'anhuma, dari Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, beliau bersabda: "Jumlah dari dalam satu bulan itu adalah begini, begini dan begini (yaitu, sepuluh, sepuluh dan sembilan hari)."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
