و حَدَّثَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي صَالِحُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُأَنَّهُ كَانَ يُخْبِرُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَهَلَّ حِينَ اسْتَوَتْ بِهِ نَاقَتُهُ قَائِمَةً
English Translation
Dan telah menceritakan kepadaku [Harun bin Abdullah] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hajjaj bin Muhammad] ia berkata, telah berkata [Ibnu Juraij] telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Shalih bin Kaisan] dari [Nafi'] dari [Ibnu Umar] radliallahu 'anhu, bahwa ia mengabarkan bahwasanya; Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam berihram ketika hewan tunggangannya telah berdiri tegak siap memberangkatkannya.

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
