حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَإِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ إِسْحَقُ أَخْبَرَنَا و قَالَ الْآخَرَانِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ طَاوُسٍ وَعَطَاءٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَاأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ
Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] dan [Zuhair bin Harb] dan [Ishaq bin Ibrahim] -Ishaq berkata- telah mengabarkan kepada kami -sementara dua orang yang lain berkata- Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan bin Uyainah] dari [Amru] dari [Thawus] dan [Atha`] dari [Ibnu Abbas] radliallahu 'anhuma, bahwa Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam berbekam saat beliau sedang Ihram.

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
