و حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الشَّاعِرِ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَاقَدِمْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ نَصْرُخُ بِالْحَجِّ صُرَاخًا
English Translation
Dan Telah meceritakan kepada kami [Hajjaj bin Sya'ir] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Mu'alla bin Asad] Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Wuhaib bin Khalid] dari [Dawud] dari [Abu Nadlrah] dari [Jabir] dan dari [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri] radliallahu 'anhuma, keduanya berkata; "Kami pergi bersama Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam dengan melantunkan ihram untuk haji."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
