حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ مَوْلَى أَبِي قَتَادَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَيْفَ أَنْتُمْ إِذَا نَزَلَ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ فِيكُمْ وَإِمَامُكُمْ مِنْكُمْ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepadaku [Harmalah bin Yahya] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ibnu Wahab] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Yunus] dari [Ibnu Syihab] dia berkata, telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Nafi'] mantan budak Abu Qatadah al-Anshari, bahwa [Abu Hurairah] berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Bagaimana keadaan kalian apabila Isa putera Maryam turun pada kalian dan menjadi pemimpin kalian."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
