و حَدَّثَنِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ وَزَمْعَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَيَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيْنَ تَنْزِلُ غَدًا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ وَذَلِكَ زَمَنَ الْفَتْحِ قَالَ وَهَلْ تَرَكَ لَنَا عَقِيلٌ مِنْ مَنْزِلٍ
English Translation
Dan telah menceritakannya kepadaku [Muhammad bin Hatim] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Rauh bin Ubadah] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Abu Hafshah] dan [Zam'ah bin Shalih] keduanya berkata, [Ibnu Syihab] dari [Ali bin Husain] dari [Amru bin Utsman] dari [Usamah bin Zaid] bahwa ia pernah bertanya, "Wahai Rasulullah, di manakah Anda akan singgah esok hari Insya Allah?" yakni pada zaman Fathu Makkah. Beliau pun bersabda: "Apakah Aqil meninggalkan rumah untuk kami?"

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
