حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَاللَّفْظُ لِعَمْرٍو قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَيَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepadaku [Amru An Naqid] dan [Zuhair bin Harb] -lafazh milik Amru- keduanya berkata, Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan bin Uyainah] dari [Az Zuhri] dari [Sa'id bin Al Musayyab] dari [Abu Hurairah] dan sampai kepada Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, bahwa beliau bersabda: "Shalat di masjidku ini, lebih baik daripada seribu shalat di tempat lain, kecuali di Masjidil Haram."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
