حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ عَنْ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنْ زِرٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِقَالَ{ مَا كَذَبَ الْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَى }قَالَ رَأَى جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام لَهُ سِتُّ مِائَةِ جَنَاحٍ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakar bin Abu Syaibah] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hafsh bin Ghiyats] dari [asy-Syaibani] dari [Zirr] dari [Abdullah] dia berkata tentang firman-Nya: '(Hatinya tidak mendustakan sesuatu yang telah dia lihat) ' (Qs. An Najm: 11). Ibnu Mas'ud berkata, "Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam melihat Jibril mempunyai enam ratus sayap."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
