حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي هِشَامٌ الْقُرْدُوسِيُّ عَنْ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُاإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَلَقَّوْا الْجَلَبَ فَمَنْ تَلَقَّاهُ فَاشْتَرَى مِنْهُ فَإِذَا أَتَى سَيِّدُهُ السُّوقَ فَهُوَ بِالْخِيَارِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Abi Umar] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Hisyam bin Sulaiman] dari [Ibnu Juraij] telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Hisyam Al Qurdusi] dari [Ibnu Sirin] dia berkata; saya mendengar [Abu Hurairah] berkata; sesungguhnya Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Janganlah kalian mencegat rombongan dagang. Barangsiapa yang mencegat rombongan dagang lalu membeli dagangan darinya, sementara pemiliknya telah sampai kepasar, maka ada khiyar baginya."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
