حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ قَالَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا نُصِيبُ فِي الْبَيَاتِ مِنْ ذَرَارِيِّ الْمُشْرِكِينَ قَالَ هُمْ مِنْهُمْ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abd bin Humaid] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Abdurrazaq] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ma'mar] dari [Az Zuhri] dari [Ubaidullah bin Abdullah bin 'Utbah] dari [Ibnu Abbas] dari [Ash Sha'b bin Jastamah] dia berkata, "Aku bertanya, "Wahai Rasulullah, kami pernah menyerang musuh di malam hari, hingga kami membunuh para anak-anak dan kaum wanita dari orang-orang Musyrik!" Beliau bersabda: "Mereka termasuk dari golongan musuh."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
