و حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَزَالُ هَذَا الْأَمْرُ فِي قُرَيْشٍ مَا بَقِيَ مِنْ النَّاسِ اثْنَانِ
English Translation
Dan telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ahmad bin Abdullah bin Yunus] telah menceritakan kepada kami ['Ashim bin Muhammad bin Zaid] dari [ayahnya] dia berkata, " [Abdullah] berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Perkara ini (kepemimpinan) akan senantiasa dipegang oleh orang-orang Quraisy sekalipun manusia hanya tinggal dua."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
