و حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ح و حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ رُمْحٍ أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَعَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَنْهَى أَنْ يُسَافَرَ بِالْقُرْآنِ إِلَى أَرْضِ الْعَدُوِّ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَنَالَهُ الْعَدُوُّ
English Translation
Dan telah menceritakan kepada kami [Qutaibah] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Laits]. (dalam jalur lain disebutkan) Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Rumh] telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Al Laits] dari [Nafi'] dari [Abdullah bin Umar] dari Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, bahwa beliau melarang membawa Mushaf Al Qur'an ke negeri musuh, karena beliau khawatir apabila nantinya akan diambil musuh."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
