حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَحْيَى الْبَهْرَانِيِّ قَالَذَكَرُوا النَّبِيذَ عِنْدَ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُنْتَبَذُ لَهُ فِي سِقَاءٍ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ مِنْ لَيْلَةِ الِاثْنَيْنِ فَيَشْرَبُهُ يَوْمَ الِاثْنَيْنِ وَالثُّلَاثَاءِ إِلَى الْعَصْرِ فَإِنْ فَضَلَ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ سَقَاهُ الْخَادِمَ أَوْ صَبَّهُ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Basysyar] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Ja'far] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syu'bah] dari [Yahya Al Bahrani] dia berkata, "Mereka menyebut-nyebut nabidz (perasan buah) di sisi [Ibnu Abbas], lantas dia berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam biasa dibuatkan perasan dalam wadah air minum -Syu'bah berkata; dari malam senin-, kemudian beliau meminumnya pada hari senin dan selasa sampai ashar, jika masih terdapat perasan yang tersisa, maka beliau menyuruh pelayannya untuk menumpahkan."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
