و حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ جَمِيعًا عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَأُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِتَمْرٍ فَجَعَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْسِمُهُ وَهُوَ مُحْتَفِزٌ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ أَكْلًا ذَرِيعًاوَفِي رِوَايَةِ زُهَيْرٍ أَكْلًا حَثِيثًا
English Translation
Dan telah menceritakan kepada kami [Zuhair bin Harb] dan [Ibnu Abu Umar] -semuanya- dari [Sufyan], [Ibnu Abu Umar] berkata; Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] dari [Mush'ab bin Sulaim] dari [Anas], dia berkata; 'Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam di beri kurma, lalu beliau membelahnya (beliau dalam keadaan tidak tenang duduknya), beliau makan dengan cepat (karena lapar).' Dan di dalam riwayat Zuhair; 'Beliau makan dengan Hatsis (cepat).'

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
