حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا اطَّلَعَ عَلَيْكَ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنٍ فَخَذَفْتَهُ بِحَصَاةٍ فَفَقَأْتَ عَيْنَهُ مَا كَانَ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ جُنَاحٍ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Abu 'Umar]; Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan] dari [Abu Az Ziyad] dari [Al A'raj] dari [Abu Hurairah] bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam telah bersabda: "Seandainya seseorang mengintip ke dalam rumahmu tanpa izin, maka tidak berdosa bagaimu sekiranya kamu melempar dia dengan kerikil dan mencongkel matanya."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
