و حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ وَهُوَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا عَدْوَى وَلَا غُولَ وَلَا صَفَرَ
English Translation
Dan telah menceritakan kepadaku ['Abdullah bin Hasyim bin Hayyan]; Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Bahza]; Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Yazid] yaitu At Tustari; Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Az Zubair] dari [Jabir] Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Tidak ada penyakit yang menular secara sendirian tanpa izin Allah, tidak ada hantu bergentayangan dan tidak ada shafar (penyakit perut) yang terjadi dengan sendirinya."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
