حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ قَالَقُلْتُ لِأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ كَيْفَ كَانَ شَعَرُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كَانَ شَعَرًا رَجِلًا لَيْسَ بِالْجَعْدِ وَلَا السَّبْطِ بَيْنَ أُذُنَيْهِ وَعَاتِقِهِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Syaiban bin Farrukh]; Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Jarir bin Hazim]; Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Qatadah] dia berkata; Aku bertanya kepada [Anas bin Malik] bagaimana keadaan rambut Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam? Dia menjawab; Beliau berambut ikal, tidak lurus dan tidak pula terlalu keriting, panjang rambutnya sampai antara kedua telinganya dan bahunya.

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
