و حَدَّثَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي مَخْرَمَةُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍأَرْسَلْنَا الْمِقْدَادَ بْنَ الْأَسْوَدِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ الْمَذْيِ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ الْإِنْسَانِ كَيْفَ يَفْعَلُ بِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأْ وَانْضَحْ فَرْجَكَ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepadaku [Harun bin Sa'id al-Aili] dan [Ahmad bin Isa] keduanya berkata, telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Wahb] telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Makhramah bin Bukair] dari [bapaknya] dari [Sulaiman bin Yasar] dari [Ibnu Abbas] dia berkata, " [Ali bin Abi Thalib] berkata, 'Kami mengutus al-Miqdad bin al-Aswad kepada Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam, lalu dia menanyakan beliau tentang madzi yang keluar dari manusia, apa yang (harus) ia perbuat? ' Maka Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda, 'Berwudhulah, dan siramlah kemaluanmu'."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
