حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى التُّجِيبِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يُبْسَطَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقُهُ أَوْ يُنْسَأَ فِي أَثَرِهِ فَلْيَصِلْ رَحِمَهُ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepadaku [Harmalah bin Yahya At Tujibi]; Telah mengabarkan kepada kami [Ibnu Wahb]; Telah mengabarkan kepadaku [Yunus] dari [Ibnu Syihab] dari [Anas bin Malik] dia berkata; Aku mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Barangsiapa yang ingin dilapangkan rezkinya, atau ingin dipanjangkan usianya, maka hendaklah dia menyambung silaturrahmi."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
