حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ قَالَ هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَعَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا وَقَالَ أَقِيمُوا الصَّفَّ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّ إِقَامَةَ الصَّفِّ مِنْ حُسْنِ الصَّلَاةِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Rafi'] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abdurrazzaq] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ma'mar] dari [Hammam bin Munabbih] dia berkata, ini adalah sesuatu yang diceritakan kepada kami oleh [Abu Hurairah] dari Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam, maka dia menyebutkan beberapa hadits darinya, dan berkata, "Luruskanlah shaf dalam shalat, karena meluruskan shaf termasuk tanda kebagusan shalat."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
