و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ بِسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَفِي الصُّبْحِ بِأَطْوَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ
English Translation
Dan telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Bakar bin Abi Syaibah] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Abu Dawud ath-Thayalisi] dari [Syu'bah] dari [Simak] dari [Jabir bin Samurah] bahwa Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam membaca dalam shalat zhuhur surat Sabbihisma Rabbikal al-A'la (QS. Al-a'la), sedangkan dalam shalat shubuh dengan surat yang lebih panjang darinya.

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
