حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍأُمِرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعٍ وَنُهِيَ أَنْ يَكْفِتَ الشَّعْرَ وَالثِّيَابَ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Amru an-Naqid] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Sufyan bin Uyainah] dari [Ibnu Thawus] dari [Bapaknya] dari [Ibnu Abbas], "Nabi Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam diperintahkan untuk sujud pada tujuh (anggota badan), dan dilarang untuk mengikat rambut dan melipat baju."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
