حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُاقَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَعَذَابِ النَّارِ وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ وَشَرِّ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ
English Translation
Telah menceritakan kepada kami [Muhammad bin Mutsanna] telah menceritakan kepada kami [Ibnu Abu 'Adi] dari [Hisyam] dari [Yahya] dari [Abu Salamah] bahwa ia mendengar [Abu Hurairah] berkata; "Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam biasa berdo'a ALLAAHUMMA INNII A'UUDZU BIKA MIN 'ADZAABIL QABRI WA'ADZAABIN NAARI WAFITNATIL MAHYAA WAL MAMAT WA SYARRIL MASIIHID DAJJAAL (Ya Allah, saya berlindung kepada-Mu dari siksa kubur dan siksa neraka dan fitnah kehidupan dan kematian dan keburukan Masih Dajjal)."

Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj was a student of Imam al-Bukhari. He compiled Sahih Muslim selecting from approximately 300,000 hadiths, arranging his collection thematically and grouping all chains of each hadith together — making it uniquely easy to study the complete transmission history of a single narration.
Sahih Muslim took 15 years to complete. Its unique arrangement — all isnads for one hadith in one place — remains unmatched in the hadith literature.
