أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ عَنْ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَيِّنُوا الْقُرْآنَ بِأَصْوَاتِكُمْ
English Translation
Telah mengabarkan kepada kami ['Ali bin Hujr] dia berkata; telah menceritakan kepada kami [Jarir] dari [Al A'masy] dari [Thalhah bin Musharrif] dari ['Abdurrahman bin 'Ausajah] dari [Al Barra'] dia berkata; Rasulullah Shallallahu'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Indahkan suaramu dalam membaca AI Qur 'an."

Imam an-Nasa'i applied the strictest conditions of all Sunan compilers. He first wrote a larger collection (as-Sunan al-Kubra) then condensed it into al-Mujtaba. He was particularly rigorous in identifying weaknesses in narrator chains, resulting in a collection of very high reliability.
An-Nasa'i's conditions for accepting narrators were stricter than those of Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi, making al-Mujtaba one of the most critically refined of the Sunan collections.
